Metro Vancouver Transit Police is seeking an exceptional leader to guide our department as we head into a time of rapid growth and expansion. Commanding all Operational or Administrative Services Sections at Transit Police, the role will lead in the planning, implementation and assessment of key programs and initiatives for our police service.
The ideal candidate will have post graduate education, police leadership or management training, and significant experience in a senior leadership role in a law enforcement environment. They will have a demonstrated commitment to community policing with experience in frontline urban beat policing. They will lead by example and embody our values of integrity, professionalism, accountability, respect and teamwork.
