Information Session

Our Recruiting Unit will be hosting an Information Session on Wednesday, March 6 from 6pm to 8pm at Transit Police Headquarters (map). They will share information about some of the many benefits that a career as a Transit Police Officer or Community Safety Officer offers, and will be available to answer questions. In order to attend, you must register via email: recruiting@transitpolice.bc.ca.

Community Safety Officer — If you are looking to build experience in policing and the transit environment, the CSO program offers a great entry into a career in law enforcement

Recruit Police Officer — If you have life and work experience and are looking for a career change into law enforcement, we will support you through your journey at the Justice Institute of BC Police Academy

Experienced Police Officer — Whether you have just a few years of policing experience, or your finishing up a long career, we can make the next step of your career incredibly rewarding

Dispatch — exciting new opportunities are coming soon for anyone looking to begin their career as an Operations Communications Centre Operator (dispatcher). Stay tuned.

The jurisdiction of the Transit Police is the entire transportation service region – an area crossing twenty-one municipalities and one First Nation, served by a combination of seventeen independent police agencies and RCMP detachments.
