We’re a specialized police service working alongside policing and community partners to provide a safe and secure transit system to everyone. We offer a rewarding career where you provide a valuable public service.
No other police service walks the beat like we do. The transit system in Metro Vancouver moves over 233 million passengers each year. The jurisdiction of the Transit Police is the entire transportation service region – an area crossing twenty-one municipalities and one First Nation, served by a combination of seventeen independent police forces and RCMP detachments.
Being a member of Transit Police gives you a chance to grow and experience different types of policing services: patrol, plain clothes and other specialist roles, working as part of an integrated law enforcement team and much more. We offer an exciting and unique style of policing on and around Metro Vancouver’s transit system.
