Alberta man arrested on 13 warrants, returned to Alberta to face serious charges
New Westminster – A 19 year old Alberta man wanted on 13 warrants out of Lethbridge, Alberta was arrested by Metro Vancouver Transit Police officers.
On February 15, 2015, at 9 am, Transit Police officers were conducting fare checks at Metrotown SkyTrain Station when they encountered a man without a fare and no identification. The man provided several false names and dates of birth before he was identified as Tyler Daniel Letkeman, 19 years.
A database check revealed that Letkeman was wanted on thirteen warrants entered by Lethbridge Regional Police Service. The warrants were for the following offences:
- Sexual Assault
- Sexual Interference
- Invitation to Sexual Touching
- Mischief over $5000
- Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000
- House Breaking with Intent
- Obstructing a Peace Officer
- Breach of Condition of Recognizance
- Fail to Appear in Court
- Fraud Under $5000
- Uttering a Forged Document
- Possession of Stolen Property
- Tampering with a Motor Vehicle
Letkeman has now been returned to Lethbridge to face his charges.
