Civilian Professionals work seamlessly with Community Safety Officers and Police Officers to keep our organization running efficiently. Much of the work they do is behind the scenes and invisible to the public, but the role they play in keeping the transit system safe is vital.

From entry level to senior leadership, the many diverse roles filled by Civilian Professionals cover a broad spectrum of skills, backgrounds, and education. In addition to the Operations Communications Centre (Dispatch), Civilian Professionals work in roles that include:

  • Facilities Management, Fleet Maintenance

We offer a position that fit your needs and help you to create work-life balance, including casual, part-time, full-time, temporary, and permanent in several unionized, exempt, and contract roles. The hiring process is demanding, and includes a detailed background check, but the work is rewarding. Post-secondary credentials and experience working in a policing environment are preferred, but usually not required for most roles.
